Teaches: Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Group Classes
Randy Keith has been playing music all his life. A child of two stage performers and Los Angeles-area native, Randy developed perfect pitch as an infant, first sat at the piano before his first birthday, and was taking piano lessons by the age of 3. He started singing at 3, playing guitar and autoharp at 4, harmonica and drums at 16, and bass guitar at 23.
While attending UCLA as a Communications Studies/Business major and working at several Los Angeles radio stations as a traffic reporter, Randy played piano and developed his repertoire in his spare time, imitating his piano idols Billy Joel and Elton John. Upon graduating before the age of 21, Randy studied for his secondary education teaching credential and went on to teach math (basic math, algebra, geometry) and music (choir) in both middle and high school as well as with private tutoring students.
Since 2006, Randy has been a full-time entertainer, performing in dueling piano shows in night clubs across the country and cruise ships around the world. He has always had a passion for spreading both the enjoyment of music and fundamentals of learning, and is excited to be a part of the Melody of Life music team, bringing his unique perspective of performing experience to both beginning and intermediate music students.
